 PottersWheel model definition files contain either a reaction network
 or a set of ordinary differential equations. In the former case, PottersWheel
 determines the differential equations based on the network using
 a so-called chemical compiler. In the latter case this step is not
 necessary since the user already supplies the ODEs, which provides
 a higher flexibility at the expense of several functionalities which
 are only available for reaction based models, e.g. visualization and
 editing of the model structure with the PottersWheel Model Designer.
